Warehouse Associate (Ontario)

Vitacore is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves receiving shipments, sorting batteries and recyclable materials, preparing pallets for shipment, and maintaining accurate inventory and receiving records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, physically capable, and able to quickly identify and separate different commodities, materials, colours, shapes, and sizes in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

·       Previous warehouse, recycling,manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred.

·       Strong attention to detail and ability toquickly distinguish between different materials, colours, shapes and sizes

·       Ability to stand, walk, bend, and performphysical work throughout the entire shift.

·       Ability to repeatedly lift and movematerials weighing up to 70lbs.

·       Comfortable performing repetitive sortingtasks while maintaining accuracy.

·       Experience with pallet jacks and generalmaterial handling equipment is an asset.

·       Strong organizational skills and abilityto work independently.

·       Reliable, safety-conscious, and able towork in a fast-paced environment.

·      Receive, inspect, unload, andprocess inbound shipments and materials.

·      Accurately sort, identify, andsegregate a wide variety of batteries, commodities, and recyclable materialsaccording to established procedures.

·      Quickly identify between differentcolours, shapes, sizes, and material classifications to ensure proper sortingand handling.

·      Prepare, label, stack, andshrink-wrap pallets for storage.

·      Verify incoming shipment weights,quantities, and documentation.

·      Complete receiving reports andmaintain accurate records.

·      Move materials safely using palletjacks, wheelbarrow dollies, and other equipment.

·      Maintain organized inventory andstorage areas.

·      Follow all safety, quality, andoperational procedures.

·      Keep the warehouse clean, organized,and efficient.
